Are you able to generate enough leads and enough sales to successfully move a product or service. You can then compare the results and run the numbers backwards i.e. what is your ad spend and your costs in fulfilling orders.

If you keep this mindset with having the Internet as a test bed for new ideas, you will be able to find out if an idea works or not quicker than traditional tests int the market. Of course, this will all depend on the market but the recommendation is that some part of your business has a component that can be improved online.
